Koen M. Santifort

Koen Santifort graduated cum laude from Utrecht University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (The Netherlands) in 2015. After working in general and referral practice until 2020, he completed his ECVN residency in 2022 and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) in 2024. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications in veterinary neurology, many of which focus on unique and educational aspects of neurological disease.
Alongside his clinical work in IVC Evidensia Small Animal Hospitals Arnhem and Hart van Brabant, Waalwijk, The Netherlands, he is actively engaged in research and works closely with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and neurologists to deliver high-quality patient care. His primary clinical interests include neurological case management, with particular emphasis on neurosurgery and neuroimaging.
