Call for Abstracts

ECVN 2026, Berlin | 38th ESVN - ECVN Symposium | Veterinary Encephalitis

The European College of Veterinary Neurology welcomes the submission of abstracts for original contribution to its 38th Symposium to be held in Berlin on 18th and 19th September 2026.

Deadlines

Abstract submissions open: 15th December 2025

Deadline for abstract submission: 31st May 2026, 23:59 hrs. GMT +1. Abstracts received after the submission deadline will not be accepted.

Confirmation of acceptance/rejection: 31st July 2025

Deadline for registration at early-bird fee: 31st August 2026

Deadline for submission of PowerPoint presentations for accepted abstracts: 5th September 2026

Abstracts for submission are to be considered for either oral, flash oral or poster presentation. Authors should indicate their preference during submission.

Final allocation of an abstract for either oral, flash oral or poster presentation will be determined by the Scientific and Organizing Committees of the Symposium based on the abstract’s score, author’s preference, the Symposium’s topic and timeline.

The submitting author serves as “presenting author” and is the only contact for correspondence regarding submission and communication with the Organizers.

Submission is limited to a maximum of two (2) abstracts for each presenting author.

Presenting authors must be registered participants to the 38th ECVN Symposium (deadline for registration 31st August 2026). Works from unregistered authors will not be included in the Proceedings of the 38th ECVN Symposium.

Abstracts should not have been published prior to submission, nor to presentation at the Symposium.
